First Mortgages

If you are a first-time homebuyer interested in a NeighborWorks® Salt Lake newly-constructed home, you may qualify for a below market rate loan. NWSL utilizes government funds to build beautiful new single-family and townhomes in its target area.

This mortgage product is for first-time homebuyers purchasing in the NWSL target area.  Borrower must schedule a pre-purchase planning meeting with a NWSL HUD-certified homeownership counselor.  Borrower will need to provide the following documents:

• 3 months most current bank statements
• 2 most recent tax returns with W2's
• 1 month current paystubs
• Completed application

Additionally, the borrower will need to attend a HUD-approved Homebuyer Education class.  NeighborWorks Salt Lake offers this course in-house or electronically in both English and Spanish.
