The key to preventing foreclosure is to talk with your mortgage servicer as soon as you realize you have a problem. Although, we understand sometimes it is difficult to reach your servicer due to high call volumes and case loads. That's where we come in.
NeighborWorks® Salt Lake has partnered with various organizations to provide options for individuals and families struggling to pay their mortgages and facing the possibility of losing their home. Together, our counselors are certified and trained to help explain options that may be available to you and to create a plan to help you and your situation.

In your session, you and the counselor will discuss your situation,discuss options available to you, perform a budget analysis, obtain a copy of your credit report, conference call with your loan servicer, and prepare your packet to apply for a workout agreement. Loan servicers usually have several options for assistance, depending upon your situation. However, every servicer is different.
