NeighborWorks Salt Lake is a nonprofit with a mission to build on neighborhoods’ strengths, creating opportunities through housing, resident leadership, and youth and economic development. We work in partnership with residents, government, and businesses to build and sustain neighborhoods of choice.

We founded Rake Your Heart Out in 2018 as a manifestation of its mission in a one-day event: matching volunteers with homeowners who could use some neighborly help to clean up the exterior of their homes to benefit the homeowner block the strength of our community.
